Spy thriller
After reading a Kirkus review about this book that had the blurb "a terrific, believable novel about the intersection of politics, ethics and finance" and just recently having watched the movie Body of Lies based on the author's book of the same title, I found myself borrowing a library audiobook of Bloodmoney. I thought it was fascinating! Not what you would call "fast-paced, rock 'em and sock 'em." It's more like classic espionage. And I love that sort of thing. It gets into modern investment banking on a global scale. But not so much as to be tedious. Still you get a taste for deals zipping around the planet faster and faster. Really good. I love Ignatius's style. The characters were solid and the plot was great.

This book was a very nice read. It definitely makes you think about how the spy game works.
