What Members Thought

Really good and gritty. Outside of my usual time period for espionage fiction but at least it’s a time period I can relate to and lived through. Good twists and turns. I recognized a fairly obvious foreshadowing line early on, so I figured out the traitor 1/3 the way in, but when it was confirmed in the last pages it was very much more frigid than expected. Good writing.

My plan is to read the “trilogy trilogy” of Bernard Samson books (plus Winter) and this year at last I made a start. I did enjoy this and now I’m wondering why I waited so long. Lots of other reading projects going on at the moment and I’m not a fast reader. Recently purchased a very good bootleg copy of the TV series which will help me revise if left too long!
