Five, six, seven, eight stars. This book has me screaming silently. The plot twists and shocking realizations. The slowest of the slow burns. Beautiful language and skilled writing. This is the kind of book that the reader realizes is a masterpiece while they are reading it. Each page is meant to be savored. Simply— I’m in love.
2021 reread: less horrifying and more ... boring? The slow burn is good tho
