"Savannah was invariably gracious to strangers, but it was immune to their charms"
I started the book for the killing, thinking this would be a thriller. Pleasantly surprised that it's really more a travelogue, with the focus being on the characters in Savannah instead of any particular locations. So unexpectedly funny.
