What Members Thought
Looked forward to reading this since I, like many on this website, liked “Water for Elephants”. I did not (and normally do not) read any reviews beforehand so was not forewarned that this is not as good as “Water…”
I liked the very beginning that takes place in Scotland and liked Angus, Meg and Anna and wanted the ending that I got, but the book kind of fell flat for me. I think one person on this site called it ‘thin’ and I agree.
