What Members Thought
Listened to an audio version on Lit2go. Excellent narration of a somewhat long and wordy story written and set in the mid-1800s. Despite their voluble nature, books of this era are, generally, particularly appealing to me, and I find the elegance with which people spoke - and wrote - during that time to be a refreshing respite from the profanity-laced way contemporary books of fiction seem to be ground out today.
Just my preference.
