So, for two days I totally lost myself in this book. One of the best books I've read. To be on that list, a book must be well-written, it must be a story that I can't stop thinking about, and I can't put it down until done. Then I talk about it to anyone who will listen! I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in a well-written, intricate tale. From the blurb, the situation is complicated and cannot be anything but heartbreaking. While reading, I could not see how the ending could be happy for every character I liked. The tale is bittersweet, shedding light on an impossible situation in which there is no easy fix. The writing is done in such way that as a reader, I was drawn in to the story and could not put the book down for anything (And yes, I read
