Tui's work is amazing, with an unhurried yet dense storyline that leaves you wanting more. With that being said, this is the absolutely worst yet. Books 1-5 were creative, clever, and humorous. Books 6-10 were slow, boring, and repetitive. After mary-sue Moon, we get grumpy Winter, annoying Peril, and cowardly Turtle. In all of the other books, Quibli is clever, calculating, and charmingly humorous. But when we finally see it in his view, he is a sloppy cliche-based character. He came from an a ...more

I read this book a year ago, it was really nice it wasn't a short book but I finished it in a day (had nothing to do) and I think if you like the wings of fire series or just dragons in general you should read this book and this series. ...more
