Not a bad little story, overall, for someone who wants a sweet romance with some fantasy trappings, but it didn't really blow me away. On the romance front, the attraction for Miner -- well, for both of them, but for Miner to a greater degree -- seems to be based way too much on the fact that they've finally found someone who will treat them with kindness despite their culture's aggressive homophobia. Im in love with Kim Feilding's writing. I loved her book 'Brute' and so decided to read this book which looked equally as good and it definitely lived up to my expectations. I quickly got lost into the mind of Ennek and his desire for Miner which turns to love.

I cant wait to read the next one ...more
