I loved this book. I loved this book. I loved this book.
Modern fantasy would be my best guess at classifying it. Coming of age, too. It’s the story of a young playwright from out in the sticks who ventures to the big, scary city after his lover leaves him. But oh my God, it’s so much more.

OMG Just finished this book it was incredible can completely understand why it won the Lambda Literacy Award. this book follows a boy called Tom Fletcher who is a small town boy who goes to a city called Riverside, which i imagine to be like New York. His Lover Cloud is an incredibly arrogant man but i kind of wish we had more back ground on the life Cloud lives and maybe the concerquences of his choice.
