This is one of those quick reads that’s just pure enjoyment from beginning to end. It’s not a deep emotional read, but it is sweet and fun. Brad and Sebastian were entertaining and cute, especially Brad in his inept bumbling of all things “gay/coming out.” I liked how everything came about in the right time for what Brad was dealing with and could safely handle.

Brad is a jock and one of the party boys of his frat. For years he’s been the women magnet and managed to bury his real needs deep down This is one of those quick reads that’s just pure enjoyment from beginning to end. Brad is a jock and one of the party boys of his frat. For years he’s been the women magnet and managed to bury his real needs deep down. More and more lately he’s noticed his eyes drifting to the guys in his life. His internal self’s screaming is finally reaching the surface and Brad can’t deny the reality to himself for much longer. He’s gay, and the TA in his history class may just be the real reason he’s show up to class everyday not the need to keep his grades up.

Sebastian doesn’t mind being a TA to his professors’ undergrad history course. Mostly it’s just collecting their papers, reading them, and handing them back. Not his fault if his eyes follow one of the undergrads. It’s not like he’s going to go and hit on the straight boy, he doesn’t need to get punched for hitting on a straight jock, but he’s quite happy to enjoy the view. There’s something about the boy though that doesn’t seem quite what he expects of one of the jocks on campus.

How to get the attention of the guy you like if he happens to be your TA…cheat of course. God Brad just made me giggle with his bumbling. I totally felt like I was reading the boy in like fourth grades’ attempts to get the girl he likes attention. Of course pulling her pigtails is going to make her like you. This just feels like the grown up equivalent. I liked the dichotomy that was created between the big tough jock and the shy nervous gay boy that lay underneath. Brad is just coming into his own, he’s just figuring out who he is and what all of that really means in the world. Lusting after the slightly older, much more worldy guy…well of course it’s HOT!

Sebastian was fun too in his own way. He’s almost a little jaded. He’s not looking for anything series, he’s happy with his playboy reputation. But he’s more than a little into the sexy little “frat boy” in the undergrad history course. I loved that Brad continued to surprise Sebastian that he wasn’t the jerky football player that everyone expected him to be. He was so cute when he realized how inexperienced Brad really was. Sebastian clearly wasn’t expecting that little revelation. I liked that he didn’t do any real deep thinking about things until it was almost too late. Sebastian wasn’t used to thinking about his hookups in terms of a future. Brad just sneaks up on him. He’s feelings really do smack him upside the head.

Now as for me wanting to punch things well Paul would certainly be first on the list. Hello dickwad thy name is Paul. What a stuck up little prick. Of course I’m sure he’ll end up getting his own book somewhere in this series and quite probably be redeemed, but for today I wanted to punch him in his face but I would have had to reach too far up his ass to be appealing.

I did like Brad’s other frat brothers though, from our clean freak Julian to the deep in the closet Collin, and fag hag Kyle. Brad’s final coming out party was just too funny for words. I loved the reactions of his frat they were such fun. I do hope we get to spend more time with the other brothers of the frat in the future books.

Overall this is a straightforward coming out story of a young man coming to grips with who he really is and falling in love. It’s light hearted and fun. A wonderful quick read well worth the time investment. I will definitely be reading the rest of the series. I would say it’s a 4.5 stars in the end for me.

This was a sweet story starring a very sweet jock and an incredibly not stereotypical T.A. I liked their relationship and I loved the ending. The first couple of chapters were disjointed and awkward; too rushed. I find it weird that he would figure out he was gay overnight, like total denial and then suddenly, "Oh, hey! I'm gay! I want to be fucked!" But once you accept that premise, it's cute.

Based on the title and cover alone I probably wouldn't have read this, but I'm so glad I gave it a chance! Contemporary isn't my usual genre, but this book is an example of how it can be done RIGHT. It's funny, charming, and there's genuine tension and conflict between the leads. There's a perfect balance of sex-and-everything-else, which is to say I felt like the sex all served a purpose with regards to the characters and the plot. It's not a Romance novel, its Smut with a just enough plot and dialogue to make it fun & light.

If you're looking for the next great m/m book, you might not enjoy this.
If you're looking for something light, fun and very smutty, this here is your book. Sure, its a little 'I have a package for you' cheesey but its entertaining.

From the outside, Brad looks like the typical jock frat guy. But on the inside, he's anything but. He's struggling with the fact that he thinks he might be gay. He's really not sure, but he knows he's attracted to Sebastian, the teacher's aide in one of his classes. Sebastian is a self-assured, out-and-proud student. He notices Brad but thinks its ashamed that he's not gay. But then he finds out much later that may not be the case.
