What Members Thought

I loved seeing the difference between Leaving Atlanta and An American Marriage. Leaving Atlanta was good, but I got the sense of great potential rather than great execution. In this book, Jones's talent really blossomed.
I think this book succeeds work character development and pacing. I also really like the writing style -- it's lyrical and subtle and not at all self-indulgent. The book trusts the audience to understand.
