What was it like to be fat and depressed? Oscar Wao was a fat and depressed kid that could not find a girlfriend. He was considered a "hero" only because he ended up falling in love with someone that had a marine boyfriend. This book really told me alot about how everyone has a special someone for them in life. I would recommend this book to EVERYONE because it is a great read. The author Junot Diaz really utilizes language in order to catch the readers attention.
