"Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini was a great book. It was not a book that I chose on my own, but was recommended from all my friends and english teacher. This book had a great story and kept me interested to the point where I could not put it down. Amir and Hassan, both close friends from a young age are practically like brothers. They spend all their time together and have a lot of fun, especially when kite fighting. Amir's father (known as Babba) has a difficult time showing his affection and

From reading The Kite Runner, i learned that friendship is very important. Amir lived his life with many regrets because he has betrayed Hassan in many ways. He have never really treated him as a friend as much as Hassan has. I would high recommend this book because Khaled Hosseini included many themes that sparked the book. This book is also a great example to use for school especially with all the literary elements thatthe author includes.

This book is a very strong book, it pulls at her heart. It about a man and his past and how it effects his future. He has a best friend and something so terrible happen to him but it could have been prevented if the main character just helped him. But that didn't stop their friendship. And a war force both boys into a path. This is a must read book. It about how it's never too late to make up forgiveness. I highly recommend to read this book, you won't regret it.

The book is amazing. The book brag about so many feelings and ideas. Amir and Hassan were such opposite characters, I felt so bad about all the things Hassan when though because of Amir. I wish it would have ended differently though. Amir realizes all he has done to Hassan too late. The theme of discovery as well as redemption played a big role in this novel.

The Kite Runner was electrifying and definitively unforgettable first novel. It talks about the friendship between Amir and Hassan. The two boys grow up together in the same household but they both have a different fate. Amir and his father will eventually flee Afghanistan and find refuge in California. Despite his asylum Amir obviously can't forget his friendship with Hassan, whom he left behind. I feel like Amir felt guilty for doing that to such a cherished person deep inside him and so that

This book is an amazing novel. The author, Khaled Hosseini, begins this wonderful story when Afghanistan was in a war with the Russsians. The main protagonists, Amir and Hassan, have been friends ever since they were born. However, their friendship couldn't last long because of the role that each of them played in their society. Hassan was Amir's servant so that was why, Amir could never treat him as his real bestfriend even if he wanted to. On a hot evening, when the kite competition took place

A intriguing novel of loyalty, redemption and family, The Kite Runner depicts the story of Amir and Hassan from the free Afghanistan that they know, to an unfamiliar, Taliban-ruled Afghanistan. This story exemplifies life lessons that can be learned by any reader. It teaches of the betrayal that can spring from a steadfast friendship. It teaches one to never underestimate or discriminate against a person because of where they are from or who they are. Khaled Hosseini does an incredible job with

This story is an absolute, "roller coaster." It goes from happy, golden times to devastating cruel moments in a matter of seconds. The main character commits a fatal mistake that destroys a friendship. However, later in life, he is given a chance to right his wrong. The path of redemption may be difficult and terrifying, but in the end the reward is all worth it. I highly recommend this book.
