This book was almost as good as the first, and it did keep me turning the pages to the point of not wanting to sleep. However, the first 1/3-1/2 of the book zoomed through an entire year with no indication of the abrupt jumps in time until you were reading the next chapter and it was suddenly a different season or something was happening that wasn't supposed to happen for 2 months. And then, finally, we got to the bit of the book where the main events started happening. And a painful cliffhanger
