Even if you are not a fan of Christian Fiction-this is an excellent read. Its the story of a woman named Allison who came to Christianity later in life, and after 7 years of wondering what she was going to do "when she grew up" got a "nudge" from God to do something she had never thought of-never dreamed of doing. The book started a little slow but then about 50 pages in I was hooked and I couldn't put it down. It was well written with enough plot twists to keep me reading. Nancy's books are well organized presenting locations and circumstances without bogging down the story. . I am eager to complete the series.

Loved the themes this explored around the role of the prophet in the modern church, and what following Jesus really looks like. Plus all those themes were wrapped up in some characters that were dear.
