Not By Sight is a touching and gripping story of the power of hope and the essence of the providence of God. By the end of the Prologue, I was already knee deep into the story. When a family faces the unfathomable tragedy of losing their father and baby sister, it is torn apart spiritually about whether or not God exists. A young man who has a horrible incident as a child, has to face the consequences of his choices and risks losing the most important person in his life in confessing his crimes.

Not by Sight by Kathy Herman is my first read by this author but definitely not my last. This is the first book in the Ozark Mountain Trilogy and I am anxiously awaiting the next one.
Great variety of characters, strengths and weaknesses showing through but the ones that touched me the most were Abby and her Grandfather Buck and their faith, through it all. I love a great mystery and this one had me hooked from the beginning.
