What Members Thought

I have to admit, it took me longer than usual to get into this book. It took nearly the whole first half—which is really unusual for me with a Discworld book. I think it’s because I was expecting this to be the witches as I knew them, and yet for the majority of the first half of the book, Granny Weatherwax was off doing something on her own. 4.5 on the blog.
This story was a tiny bit slow to start, but what made it a four stars to 4.5 rather than a five stars to 4.5 was most of the vampire scenes, except for the last two, were too long and a bit boring for me. The witches parts of the story were excellent.

The Count striked me as someone who thought he had the most original ideas to have a "good" relationship with his food... but this was clearly not going to work so long as witches were around. It was really nice to see Nanny Ogg, Agnes, and Magrat having a more active
