[close] Of the several architectural curriculums I've come across, this book is often on their list. It's either this or "Eyes of the Skin" by Juhani Pallasmaa. The latter is actually more common, but it's such a heavy read and I didn't really find it all that rewarding. Tanizaki's book is supposed to be easier to read according to a teacher I talked to during a convention.
