Haven meets Carmine in a unexpected way and they both fall in love.... but can it just be so simple as that for them?
Definitely not.

Haven, a girl who struggles throughout her daily life until one day..... she feels like a free woman!

I am attempting to be fair in this review. This book came so highly recommended, maybe the pedestal I placed it upon was too high.

PROS: It's easy reading; doesn't require deep thoughts or anything above minimal intellect to understand. (I said I would try to be fair)

CONS:
Plot: Teenage mafia prince and all around bad boy/stud muffin meets slave girl who has mafia roots of her own when his father "buys" her. Star-crossed lovers, yada yada yada, discovers she is grand-daughter of mafia boss/Godfath ...more

Shelves: series, suspense, kinky, slave

I liked it. Enough to want to read the next one. The characters were well developed and the mafia angle interesting.

did a re-read, forgot how good this one was. Excellent story & this author has the ability to wrap you up in her world. Looking forward to December for #2
