In Sing, we're left with a tiny glimpse of Jonathan's recovery. It's implied that Jonathan takes it easy. Or rather, we assume that he takes it easy for about half a year, then back to his sexy dominating self. Understandable. Those assumptions completely underestimate Jonathan.

"...I'd been fucking her for months with this borrowed thing in my chest..."

There's a pivotal moment here, that I don't want to spoil. A moment where Jonathan reassesses his role as Monica's husband. And what that means f ...more

There are at least two ways for CD Reiss to render us addicted to her books. There is the slow, easy way like the eruption of a volcano such as Mt. Etna; constantly bubbling under the surface and running down the mountain devastating everything in its path. Wonderful, now I feel like I got a little more closure after Sing, yes I want more but that will come in 2014 with Coda and I am sure here and there we will read things about this wonderful couple in the books about his sisters. I loved this story, granted it is really short but it is powerful, and it shows Jonathan in a way that I am sure many people are after such a huge ordeal. Holy hell, I felt that!!! OMG.... raw, soul crushing passion...wtf am I going to write as a review... C.D. Reiss has absolutely raised the bar with Monica. It takes you into the physical pain and emotions of Monica & Jonathan, post transplant, with an understanding so strong you feel them.. "Even in love you need pain" The release is euphoric...
