Jesus. I have no words in my vocabulary that can come close to this book. Nothing that can adequately describe what my heart, soul and body feel. Five stars is a pathetic rating for this. It deserves infinite stars because it's perfect. And you know what? How hard is it to put out a book that's blindingly perfect? Almost impossible. How on earth do I review a book I just love so much without giving away the plot? Remy and Brooke leave me breathless and sated. Their communication with one another through music is something I completely relate to and being able to listen to these songs with them puts me right in the moment with them. I held out reading Real until I had Mine and I'm so grateful I did this because I didn't miss a beat, and let's face it, my patience is lacking. Remy and Brooke leave me breathless and sated. Their communication with one another through music is something I completely relate to and being able to listen to these songs with them puts me right in the moment with them. I held out reading Real until I had Mine and I'm so grateful I did this because I didn't miss a beat, and let's face it, my patience is lacking. I truly appreciate the realness of life Katy provides us as we continue to watch Remy suffer from BP. This is a daily struggle for many and seeing how Remy takes care of his mind and body is a true testament to the importance of taking care of and appreciating our mind, body, and soul. Knowing he doesn't have control of his mood swings is powerful in his need for control when he's blue...and ooooooh how I adore and love the alpha, protective, intense Remy. Brooke is his equal, his partner and she's just as protective and hands-on as Remy, and I love her for it! I also appreciate how Katy explains everything to us. I'm not "all knowing" about the muscles in our bodies and the chemicals that perform their many tasks so having this explained helped me to further understand what was being done and why. The intensity in Mine is hypnotizing and I found myself fighting between wanting to devour (hmmm) and read as slowly as possible to truly inhale and digest what was occurring. The passion and dedication to family was heart-stopping beautiful and the making of tough (sometimes unwanted) decisions when needed to take care of themselves and those they love was breathtaking. I keep thinking back to the music because so much can be spoken through words of a song and so much has been spoken through Katy's words in Mine. When we feel connected to characters we find a way to learn from their interactions and what I've learned from Remy and Brooke is to savor every moment and scent my man as much as possible. The scenting, licking, petting, and music I think are by far my favorite moments of all thus so far in the series. So much meaning, connection, and thoroughness is applied in these scenes that I was wiggling in my seat because I could feel the pure, raw, and real love in these moments. I wrote this review with no spoilers and I had so many quotes picked out to add in but they'd give things away and that's absolutely not what I want to do with this review as I want you to experience all the intense moments for yourself. So after you take in Mine, just think to yourself...we only have a few more weeks before we get more Remy and Brooke (because that's my mantra). Give this a try!! ...more

Amazing!!!!! I can never get enough of Brooke and Remy. This continues where Real leaves off. Remy an even bigger force to be reckoned with, and even more intense. I love this series so much. I can't wait for Remy to come out.
