HOLY SHIT. THIS IS MY FIRST 5 STAR READ OF 2017!!!!! I am so smitten with this book. So taken by these characters. So over the moon with this novel that packed such a SOLID, OVERWHELMING punch! It was EVERYTHING! Everything I never expected and more. I actually went into this thinking it was RomCom! LOL! WTH! **shakes my head** No idea where I got that idea. The best friends to lovers story I've read since forever.
AT deftly blends two of my favorite trope, the friends to lover and the office romance into this beautiful raw story fraught with tension and longing. The story is thoroughly modern despite the timeless, almost old fashioned emotional tango that Kate and Trey are engaged in. I liked how there story flowed, Was really gripping and a few laughs along the way. And the characters were well written. Over all a great book.
Holy moly, this was fantastic! Super hot slow burn but I didn't even mind because their chemistry was so great!
