Last Kiss was missing the edge I experienced in First Touch which was full of suspense and left me desperate to read on. The main difference for me was the introduction of a character (view spoiler) whom by their presence forced a lot of changes to the dynamics of the relationships surrounding them.

While I was invested in the characters individually, I was no longer drawn to the potential collective relationship outcomes. With their new arrangements now in place due to the ...more

Well done!
First Touch it was much more explosive,Last Kiss was simmering beneath the surface,but regardless of that,both books are amazing :)
