Ok I think I'm being generous with 3 stars cause honestly more like 2.5 stars, ok the story premise was actually good. Black is an interesting character but the storytelling was poor, it was disjointed and rushed and I couldn't get to know the characters or feel for them. I didn't cry.... I wasn't horrified... I just simply didn't care, I wish the author took her time in telling this story. Made us feel for the characters and give a shit cause honestly a lot happens but it happens too fast that ...more

I enjoyed reading this book but there are parts in this book that can be pretty disturbing. I cannot believe what Rose has been through, how she even survives. She is so strong, loving, and keeps going even when knocked down over and over again. Black is mysterious but sexy. We get to learn alot about him as the book progresses.
