ALASDAIR was one of those books I went into with zero expectations. In fact, I'd expected not to like it. Somewhere in the blog tour sign-up, I'd missed the fact that this is a paranormal book. I'm a huge fan of Ella's. I've loved everything she's written, and I can honestly say I've read ALL of her books. I'm not a big paranormal fan, which made me hesitate to read this. I should've known that I wouldn't be disappointed.

Not only does she write paranormal so incredibly well, she writes it incredibly HOT. This book is not only paranormal, it's M/M as well.

I really enjoyed reading Alasdair, book 1 in the Masters Among Monsters series by Ella Frank.
If you like Greek mythology and vampires, in Alasdair it's a magical combination. Ella Frank's writing in enthralling, captivating and totally amazing.
I loved the relationship between Alasdair, a +2000yo vampire, and Leonidas, an archeologist in his mi-30s.
Their banter was exquisite:
