I finished this box set in 2 days!! I DEVOURED it!!! And, Now I KNOW what all the fuss is about!!! Ahhh Jonathan, your dominating dirty ways were a blast to finally read!!! I don't know if I am happy with every aspect of this tumultuous journey with your "Canary". There were parts that just pissed me off. There were parts that made me swoon! And... hot damn there were a few panty changes!!!

CD Reiss certainly has a wayyyyy with words!!!!!!! She loves the dirty words and she is not afraid to use t I finished this box set in 2 days!! I DEVOURED it!!! CD Reiss certainly has a wayyyyy with words!!!!!!! She loves the dirty words and she is not afraid to use them, repeatedly!!! I have been hearing about this series for a while. I wanted to get it once it was all wrapped up in a nice little bundle. (So many parts over my Kindle would have caused my brain extensive damage!! Major OCD) I got this the first day the box set was released, it is an awesome deal!!!!

Now. If you are ready for Jonathan and Monica, and "friends" (use that word loosely!!!!)... Find a nice quiet corner, comfy clothes, comfy chair and bring a snuggley blanket (you might need it to hide your hands) and get ready for a hot, explosive, angsty, sexy, and sometimes-SO-crazy-that-you-want-to-throw-your-Kindle RIDE... hang on tight!!!!! This story will grab your attention from the first page. The writing is flawless. The story is enthralling!!! Just some of the actions of some of the characters that ticked me off, but I guess that is the sign of an amazing author, when she can bring out so many emotions, good and bad ones!!!! I will admit that there were a few pages that I had to read through tears... I was SOOO scared at one point, my stomach hurt, leaking eyes, and nose and I could not stop reading!!!!!! CD ...you amazing writing bitch :) THANKYOU for giving us Jonathan!!! (and Monica)

By the end I had a new FAVOURITE quote.
"I forgive you. I fear you. I am in awe of you".
That basically defines their whole relationship. It is gut-wrenching and brutal at times and BEAUTIFUL!!!

Loved reading each novella and being tortured with the cliffies waiting for the next installment......yes I'm a Machiost!! But after reading through this series again in one sitting, I'm just blown away, Ms ReIss is a master story teller and I could REread her books a thousand times and pick up on something new each time. She truly brings erotica to poetry. It's so beautifully written , it takes your breath away.

Ok so I read the Submission series by CD Reiss when it came out, one book at a time. I even met her in NYC and bought a paper back ( book 1,2&3 and read that) But now she went and put all into one and I had to get it. HAD TO! .... I said I'll re-read at some point. I could wait Jonathan calls to me. "read me! read me AGAIN you know you want to!" I think I love him even more now! The series is HOT really hot like SEXYAmazing HOT!!! Like a hot fudge sundae with extra fudge and a cherry on top Yumm ...more

Fasten your seat belts. It's going to be a whiplash emotional rollercoaster! Monica Faulkner is so layered and conflicted. She's self aware, sometimes so much so it hurts. It's the dilemma she faces when it comes to love vs. career that touches my heart because it hits close to home. Monica Faulkner is not your Disney princess, virginal romantic heroine and I love her for it!!

And Jonathan. I could go on about him for hours. Suffice it to say he's not a Disney Prince. The dude has BAGGAGE. Sign m ...more

Cannot express how excited I am to have all of the Songs of Submission books in one place! I owned them all already, individually, but reread them often and it will be so much easier to do so now with it all in one cover. Jonathan and Monica are the perfect book couple. They are both strong characters that build a believable story (yes there is more than just the hot scenes-but it is definitely HOT too). CD develops characters and a story like no other. Cannot wait for Coda to wrap up this story ...more
