hmmmmm....don't know...again on the fence!

I wanted to love this, I really did! For me, Ruger was what I needed him to be, a bad ass MC brother who followed his own rules for life. He embraced his role as a brother and found family and acceptance outside of societal norms. He was the perfect motorcycle man! I just wish he alone was enough to get me through this ride!

I also loved the entire Reaper MC! I give credit to the author for giving the Reaper's a realistic tone! The brothers were rough, ye ...more

Ok, I definitely liked this better than Reaper's Property. For starters, no awkward texting (not sure why I got so hung up on that itty-bitty thing in the first book but I did:o), so that's 1 plus for this book already.

So why the same rating?

Well, I liked Ruger. He was an a$$ at times but he was hot:p and at least he was honest about his feelings from the beginning and I realized it was just a matter of time for him to process things. I love how he's always there for Sophie and her son.

Another great addition. Sophie is a struggling single mom that after an incident with her son, is forced to go under the protection of Ruger and the MC. Ruger is complicated but he has a deep love for his nephew. My biggest issue is with Sophie, who I found to be judgmental and ungrateful at times. However, her character showed growth. Great series.

The novel was good, but not as good as Reapers Property. Sophie really got on my last nerve. I found her to be hypocritical and highly judgemental. Loved Ruger! Can't wait for Hunter's story. ...more
