WHEW!!! It took me almost 3 weeks to finish reading this book, unlike the first book which I finished in one sitting.
The pace was sort of slow for my taste, but I think that was deliberate - creating a build up of emotions and action in the latter part of the book. All the pieces came together and made it exciting and very entertaining.
Again, what I didn't like in the book (possibly because I'm overly symphatetic) was the twisted manipulation of Valentine of Jace and Clary. Gawd! He's such an a ...more
