just couldn't get into the novel.

It tends to be a combination of things including whether the Goodreads reviews are close to five stars, Amazon reviews or whether I enjoyed another book in the series. There are times when I just download sci fi onto my Kindle as it is free and it got four stars and above.

Having the writer on-board who did the screenplay for "fear and Loathing In Las Vegas" gives me some hope.

Read a while back. One of my favourite books ever.....

I only managed a couple of chapters when I attempted to read it a few months ago.

Loved its quirky style.

I enjoyed it, feel a bit guilty that despite having a Finnish mother, my command of the language only allows me to read it in English....

My only problem with multiple books is I tend to give up one of them.

I very rarely reread.

Never read it, but very aware of it will read it at some point.

Very sad, I know that the above mentioned book was loved by many who never otherwise bothered with sci fi.

It has to be the Utods from The Dark Light Years
