99948 Do you love reading challenges?
Do you live for competition?
Do you have a hard time deciding what you want to read next?
Are you in a reading rut and want to discover new books and authors?
Or do you simply enjoy discussing books with fellow readers?

If you can say yes to any one of those questions then
THIS CONTEST IS MOST DEFINITELY FOR YOU.

The Mineola Library is challenging all to participate in a FUNdraising reading event. Youth participants (17 years of age or younger) can read for a chance to win a $25 Barnes & Noble gift card. Alternative prizes include library tote bags and gift certificates to the library's used book sale. The challenge consists of completing a series of reading related events and sharing the experience with other readers by posting comments in a secure discussion board through the goodreads website. For every completed reading task you will earn chances for prizes. After the contest there will be a party for participants to announce winners (you do not need to be present to win). The money raised will be used to provide materials and services for library patrons. Call the library for information, or help with your reading challenges. (903) 569-2767.

To increase the number of chances in the ticket draw, extra tickets will be awarded for every 500 pages read at the Wrap Up Party .. You will need to be present to claim these tickets.
