Books that I am trying to read at the moment, but keep getting distracted by all manner of things: upcoming promotion, degree, and nuptials... Take your pick!
_The Hangman's Daughter_
_Journalistas- 100 Years of Women in Journalism"-_
_The Passage_
_Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell_
Also the All Souls Trilogy's third book comes out in July. I will add all these books to my page for ease of reference.

Sunday May 26th at 3:00 PM

Sunday afternoon would work best for me. I'm going to be making lemonade and iced tea. Feel free to bring snacks and your suits. Although for the sake of the library books, swimming should probably wait until our discussion has concluded.

I've read the prologue... But I can manage by that time. If everyone else is amiable, we can schedule the meeting for either May 25 or 26. What times would work best for everyone?
Also, I will scope out the pool before our meeting and determine if we will need to relocate based on crowd volume. If nothing else, I will go out and claim a table an hour early.

Three points. 1- May 27th is Memorial Day. Will the library be open? 2- If we move forward the meeting date, would we be talking Memorial Day weekend? Will everyone be in town? How do we feel about trying to have a meeting poolside with the unavoidable holiday weekend crowd? 3- Is there a way to extend the due date without paying a fine?

It might be better to do the meeting either before or after Memorial Day weekend though. I think the first weekend in June would give us more time to read whatever book we decide on. Thoughts?

Hey gals, what would you all think about having our May meeting poolside?
