95766 That's great, Katie! I've been meaning to read this book for an age and I think if I have a Buddy reading it with me, I'll jump start my motivation to crack it open, lol.

Is there a specific day in August that would work best for you?

95766 That's always sad when that happens. I've been meaning to read 57 Lives, though, so I'll try to read and review it soon.

95766 Hi Heather, Olivia and Marianna! It's great to have you here with us! Feel free to make yourself at home and discuss Books of the Month, play games, and all that fun stuff. We're also holding nominations for next month's Books of the Month, if you're interested in suggesting a couple.

Welcome! ^-^

95766 I just bought Sinner (The Wolves of Mercy Falls, #3.5) by Maggie Stiefvater , Lola and the Boy Next Door (Anna and the French Kiss, #2) by Stephanie Perkins , Love and Other Foreign Words by Erin McCahan , and Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn in print. I got Storm Front (The Dresden Files, #1) by Jim Butcher in audiobook, and Something Strange and Deadly (Something Strange and Deadly, #1) by Susan Dennard and 13 Little Blue Envelopes (Little Blue Envelope, #1) by Maureen Johnson on my Kindle.

95766 Hey, Lauren - we haven't read the first three in the series yet, so Sinner wouldn't qualify. Would you rather nominate Shiver, though?

And do you have a contemporary/real life nomination? You have to post one of each when nominating. :)

95766 Granted, but you discover that it drastically alters your future.

I wish I could read books all the time and ignore being an adult.

95766 I dunno. Does Gayle Forman actually give the reader a proper ending in Where She Went or did she forget to write the last few chapters again? :P

I've been meaning to read the two I've nominated for a while, but I really LOVED both the ones Claudia nominated, too. #bookishproblems

95766 Just got into Veronica Mars not to long ago. I'm almost done with season one and LOVING it! The fact that a book series is being made about it only makes it that more awesome!

95766 Well, City of Heavenly Fire IS 700 pages long. So don't feel too bad.

I'm currently reading Sinner (The Wolves of Mercy Falls, #3.5) by Maggie Stiefvater . I'm eager to read more of Cole's story.
