You want to do a poll on the books they nominate?

If you want, you may choose two books from your partner's to-read shelf, and they can try and read both or pick the one they prefer.
Rules:
1. If you sign up, you must pick 3 books for your partner. Otherwise the challenge is ruined for them!
2. If you do not want the book picked from your to-read shelf, please provide a link to the one you would rather choose.
3. We will not be adding people after the 1st.
4. Partners will be picked on the 1st of February. You should have your picks for your partner by the 3rd of February.
5. Have fun!

Any SUBGENRE can be suggested, as long as it is mainly YA. We are actually looking for one book for each subgenre. That would be contemporary, fantasy, sci-fi, historical, mystery, romance
Thank you for all of the Recommendations.

If you win, you will be allowed to pick ONE of the BOMS for the group.

Any genre (except for Science Fiction) is good. Please leave the name of the book and the genre that it is from. Thanks in advance.!

What do you use to keep track of everything you have going on?

I agree. I feel like consumers aren't picking up the books because they aren't being broadcasted like the rest of the authors are. I feel like everyone should have a hand in working out a solution to this problem.

Thanks for responding. How do you think the media and consumers can help find a solution for this problem?

So the questions are:
1. Do you read authors of different races/nationalities/ethnicities?
2. If you do, is it a conscious effort? (Do you force yourself to do it?)
3. Do you think that this issue is a big deal?
4. Do you read a variety of genres?
5. If not, why not?
I hope that these questions can open up the floor for this conversation. I think that it is a very interesting topic.

---I personally do not like stopping a book. It makes me feel really bad because I believe that all books have the potential to be great. Although, I have DNF'd a couple of books, I don't like to make it a habit.
