50x66 With so many format choices for reading these days, I am curious about what other readers prefer. Personally I have different format preferences depending on the subject matter and/or the type of reading. For leisure reading I definitely prefer an e-reader (in my case Kindle Paperwhite) unless I am browsing articles online, in which case I like reading on a smartphone because it is light and can accommodate any body position [and there are some decent web browsers (e.g. Opera) which have text-wrap and advanced bookmarking on smartphones]. However, when it comes to reading for work (i.e. programming books) I tend to prefer actual paperbacks. I think it is because the diagrams and code examples always come across best on the physical book pages.

How about you? What reading formats do you prefer?
