Strange’s comments from the Twist Revisited group.

"Fun." Ei's grin grew practically to his temples, sreading far farther than any normal character should have. Then he lunged, moving after her with the speed and grace of an animal.

((I'm sorry, my dear sheep, I've been insanely busy these past few weeks. Such is the terrible moderator that I am.))

Ei grinned, a quick flash of dagger-like teeth, and he nodded. "Yes... Run."

((That's what I usually do. Feel free to just jump in.))

((Well, I say give it a try. We'll try to give you a helping hand where we think you need it.))

"Live... Stay..." His smile grew. "Run."

"... I'm pleased." Ei finally managed a smile. He released the girl's arm, pausing to lick some blood that clung to his nails.

"I control this... realm. Show... respect."

"Mine." Ei repeated, tightening his grip. "Don't... test me." He certainly didn't like this demon, and very much didn't care for the warbling human thing, but one must protect what is theirs.

Ei, being the slow-thoughted god that he was, finally began to notice what was was happening around him. His human was escaping. "Wait, demon!" He suddenly was much faster. He strode over, grabbing hold of Katie's arm. "Mine."

"Back... off, demon... It's mine." Ei grabbed the human creature's arm posessively.

The Plague Doctor flinched, very surprised by the whole affair. "It moves... I like it."

"I... am Ei. And..." He sat down and scratched at his ear for a moment before continuing, "You are here."

The Plague Doctor made his way through the field, picking flowers for his shop. It had started to smell of death again. He paused his work as he saw a rather attractive mask on the ground. His of course was much more practical, but it certainly was a pretty thing... He stepper over slowly, his head tilted to one side.

Ei scowled down at the human thing. "No good... thoroughly... useless."

((bbl, sorry!))

"Human..." Ei frowned slightly and licked his lips. "What is a... human? ... Does it make a... good... meal?"

((Anyone else thinking of The Hobbit?))

"Your presence..." Ei searched a moment for the word. "Disgusts me." Speaking aloud certainly was hard. He turned towards the other girl. "And you... flesh ball... What are you?"

Finally, Ei stepped out of the bush. He was tired of this demon and the odd, peachy creature with her. "... Back off... bitch."

Ei peeked out of the bushes, very unsure of whoever this was. She looked... okay, he supposed.
