932112 Oh! Wish I'd seen this earlier.

I just attended a conference where Emily Bazelon spoke about her book, "Charged: The New Movement to Transform American Prosecution and End Mass Incarceration". She was excellent, and I bought her book. I'm looking forward to starting it after I finish the two I'm reading.

I'm also reading (I tend to read a bunch of books at once, and take forever to finish any of them) "They Would Never Hurt a Fly: War Criminals on Trial in The Hague" by Slavenka Drakulic. I'm super interested in the former Yugoslavia, so it's sort of up my alley, but it's also fascinating, as she's Croatian, and wrote it while Croatia was still very defensive about their actions during and after the war. It's heavy, but important reading.

932112 Anyone have suggestions for law-related fiction to read? John Grisham? To Kill a Mockingbird? A Civil Action?
