عظيم، مُدمع للعين هو وصف محمد برادة للأم، في تفضيل الابن لها على الأب وعلى سائر الناس والأفراد، حين قال

أقول الان : الأم، كالموت، وعلى عكس الأب، لا يُفكّر فيها إلاّ من خلال الافتقاد
لا نخسر شيئاً إذ نجهل الأب. يمكن أن نولد في غيبته، ويمكن أن نبتدع أباً ونطمئن إليه. لكن الأم لا تُبتدع. تخلقنا وتجعل كل صورة نتخيلها عنها ضئيلة وهشّة أمام صورتها المُنحفرة في الدم والشهوة والخلايا
