I do all my writing, editing and formatting using MS Word 2007 including setting up links to chapter headings and save in .doc format. I following the Smashwords style and formatting guide, and then use MobiPocket Creator and Calibre to convert and test. So far, I've had no problems, no autovetter errors and no issues with the Smashwords Premium Catalogue, or Amazon.
