"Bossy" says Jace with a smile, he hits Kasper playfully on the arm and gets out his phone. He texts his dad, because his dad is less likely to go batshit about him being gone, "They'd hate me" says Jace pretty much to himself. Jace looks out the window, "I'm not perfect like they are" he says.

Jace nods, all he can feel is Kasper touching his arm. There is REALLY something wrong with him. But as long as Kasper doesn't hate him then everything could be alright. Jace gets into the car along with Kasper and bites down on his lip out of habit.

Jace flinches and takes a few steps back away from Kasper, he looks at him, the pain and confusion taking over "I don't KNOW Kas, i don't KNOW whats wrong with me. I just don't KNOW." he practically shouts. "I have issues...i just need to work some stuff out in my fucked up head....i'm sorry...i'm sorry" he whispers.

Jace looks down nervously at the ground, his dark hair falling into his eyes, Jace runs a hand through his hair again and looks up at Kasper, "Nothing Kas....can we go", jace knows Kas isn't stupid but he isn't sure what's going on himself so trying to explain it would be pointless. Jace reaches out to touch Kasper arm again but then pulls back quickly.

Jace looks at Kasper and says "yeah course", he starts for the door but then Jack says "So am I getting your number or what" the tone is teasing but also kind of serious too. Jace panics, it should be no big deal, just someone asking for his number, plenty of girls had asked, and other mates as well. But this is different. Jace turns back to Jack and says "uh, yeah yeah ok if you need help with the register right", Jack gives him an amused look and says "right, for the register". Jace quickly goes over to Jack and writes his number down, Jack touches Jace and and Jace's breath hitches. He pulls away and practically runs out the door half dragging Kas after him.

Jace keeps staring at Jack until he hears Kas's tone again. But he pushes that away, Kas probably just wants to leave. Jace turns his attention back to Jack when he answers "Well because my dad fucked his assistant. So now I'm here with my mum. And obviously I'm here for the fit guys as well" he winks at Jace. Jace bites his lip nervously and moves back around the counter, he says to Kasper "do you need anything or can we go?". Jack is still grinning at Jace and Jace feels hot all over.

Jace looks over at Kasper because of his strange tone. Jack nods and takes the record, he plays around with the till but it's old and breaks easy so when it starts to make a weird noise Jace steps behind the counter to help out. Jace sorts out returing the record for Kasper, he is accutly aware that Jack has not moved away from him at all, so their hands keep brushing by accident. Jace looks at Jack, Jack's dirty blond hair is pushed back and Jack is staring right at Jace in away that makes Jace's heart thump loudly.

The guy doesn't look away from Jace when he says "Jack, my name is Jack. Just moved here from London, it's a bit...."
"Of a let down?" says Jace with a grin "yeah, it is a bit, but we got a good beach". Jace loves Colbie, he just does, he has tavelled a lot because of his dad's work, especally to Dublin, but he still loves it here. Kasper is here. Jace gets drawn in by Jack's practically gold eyes, "I wasn't sure before, but there might be a few good things about Colbie" says Jack looking directly at Jace.

Jace snaps out of staring at the new guy fast when Kasper looks over at him, "Yeah, i remember you said, i dare you to find something you don't hate in here" he says with that smirk again. The guy from the counter looks up, his eyes are a strange shade of hazel, his lips quirk up into a small grin and he calls over "You must be Jace, been told all about you from...everyone, they say your the one to fuck, i get why now". Jace laughs and runs a hand through his hair. Jace walks over to the counter and says "Yeah i am but i'm not sure about all that. Who are you?".

Jace gets out and comes up behind Kasper, he pushes thoughts of Kasper away, he can't think like that anymore, not when Kasper has made it clear where they stand. Even if he hadn't there is nothing going on. Nothing. Jace pushes open the door, Lily should be working today, but thats not who he see's behind the counter. It's a bloke he's never seen before. A bloke who makes even Jaces heart beat a little faster.

Kasper drives them to the music shop, Jace keeps his eyes closed the whole time, the moment feels tense but sort of calm. They have a lot of good memories from this car, Jace remembers helping Kasper fix it up when it was a pile of crap. When they arrive Jace looks over at Kasper.

"Not always" murmers Jace quielty and follows Kasper out. They get into the car and Jace closes his eyes, listening to Kasper hum, it makes him feel calmer, the way Kasper's voice always seems to be able to do when Jace is stressed out.

Jace freezes and looks at Kasper strangely, but he knows he is teasing, Kasper always does. But it hurts a bit that he would about that, after everything, Jace tries to conceal the pain from his eyes, "You know i hate it when people don't follow through Kas" teases Jace. If Kasper wants to play it that way then Jace would too.

No, i really wouldn't thinks Jace. Jace pulls on the t-shirt quickly and then moves closer to Kas, "I dunno, it depends on how much that face fucks me off from here to the music shop" he says with a small smirk.

That makes Jace laugh, he can't help it, that irritating face Kas aways puts on when he wants something gets to Jace everytime, he can't refuse him anything with that face. Jace says "yeah, go on then, i'm still hitting you with it you twat". Jace shakes his head and goes to his bag to grab the clean white t-shirt he brought.

Jace can feel the beads of wetness still dripping from his hair and down his chest, he pushes some of his black hair out of the way and says "Better". Which is sort of true, he can do this. He can pretend, he has been for so long anyway. Last night can be forgotten. No, thats not true, it can be ignored, but never forgotten, it will be forever engraved into Jace's mind as one of the best nights of his life, and also one of the worst. "You?" he asks watching Kas carefully.

Jace nods and pulls off his t-shirt stuffing it in his bag before making his way upstairs. Jace knows what Kasper is doing, he always plays video games when he's upset. Jace has a quick shower, trying to wash the memories from last night away. Jace gets out and dries himself before pulling on his jeans again. Jace runs a hand through his dark messy and wet hair before heading down stairs.

Jace see's the anger and part of him feels satisfied, he's glad to have some sort of reaction from Kasper. But then the anger drains from Jace and all he can think about is not having Kas in his life, that would be even more unbearable. "Listen, mate, Kas, I...can i have a shower please" he says, he doesn't want to stay here and act normal, but he can't leave Kas either.

Jace watches the anger wash over Kasper and he gets pissed off himself. Kasper was the one who wanted to play it off, and now that Jace is playing along he's suddenly not ok with it. Kasper drives Jace crazy with the way he changes his mind about everything. Jace's jaw tightens almost painfully, "Well, you know, I only ever really remember things that were important or that meant something. I guess nothing like that happened" he says, Jace knows that was mean but he couldn't help it.

Jace won't look at Kasper, it hurts too much. It's too confusing, he hates feeling this way. Kasper is meant to be his best mate, the person he's closest to but it doesn't feel like that right now. Kas makes him feel things, bad wrong things. Jace says, forcing a bright tone, "I don't remember anything from last night mate honestly, sorry if i did something weird, but you know what i'm like when i'm pissed, after fucking that girl it goes blank".
