50x66 "May the odds be ever in your favor." The book I read is The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. Similar to the movie, this book is really intense. Katniss volunteers as tribute in place of her younger sister Prim. She travels to the games and to survive she fakes a romance with her fellow tribute, Peeta. As the games continue there's suspense, terror and death following each district. I think this book is great, better than the movie acctually, the book captures all the small moments that make the story so special. You should read this book if you are 12 years old or older because it is hard to understand. This book is the #1 New York Times Best Seller and the Wall Street Journal Best Seller as well as a movie. Collins also wrote Catching Fire and Mocking Jay, the next two books in The Hunger Games series."Let Hunger Games begin- and may the odds be ever in your favor!”.

50x66 Just like Macy, I've always wanted to read this book. I read Pretty Tough and it was one of the best books I've read. Changing schools and going to live somewhere new is really challenging. It is interesting to see the changes the character might go through, looks like playing with boys is one change. I assume this book may have to do with a girl not being allowed on a boys team, or not being able to play with the boys in some way or another. Do you know where this book is now so I can read it?

50x66 I saw the movie and it is heartbreaking. It seems that the author of this book really emphasizes the feelings of the characters in the book more than in the movie. I think that the innocence of the children and willingness of making new friends is inspiring in the movie and I think the book will be much better. I really enjoyed reading Night and I'd really like to read this book next, it looks really good.

50x66 “You see things. You keep quiet about them. And you understand.” The book I read was The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. This book is about a boy named Charlie and his life throughout high school and about his personal life. Even if Charlie is very antisocial he makes many new friends. This book shows his life throughout his first year of high school, family drama, new friends, drugs and first loves. Charlie is a wallflower; he’s an outsider who sees, keeps quiet but understands. The Perks of being a Wallflower is the New York Times Bestseller, and also a major motion picture. I’d recommend this book to anyone 13 years old and older because it has mature content. I think this book is one of the best books I’ve read and I’d recommend it to either boys or girls. The USA Today says, “A coming-of-age tale in the tradition of the catcher in the rye and a separate peace…poignant…international…beautifully written.”

Shug like all of Han's books is romance. Shug is about a pre-teen who falls in love with her childhood friend and gets her heart broken. This book is alll about love and starting middle school. This book has recieved awards such as the Young Reader's Choice Award.

50x66 Imagine going a year forward, losing your best friend and causing your best friends brother to get severally hurt. How would you feel? That is what happened to Jenni Green the main character in A Year Without Autumn by Liz Kessler. This book is about a girl who goes forward in time by taking a lift, she causes many problems that cause her to lose her best friend. The Bookbag UK says "Readers will be gripped... A thought-provoking story." I think this book is really good because it shows a motivating story where the characters are focused on doing things right. I would recommend this book to anyone ages 10 and up because the book contains words that might be hard to understand but anyone would enjoy it. Liz Kessler has also written the Emily Windsnap series. What would you feel in your were in Jenni's place? Would you try to make everything like before again?

50x66 Sounds interesting. Is there any specific reason you enjoyed the book or did you just like the genre? I am not interested in sci-fi books but I wouldnt mind reading one of the books you mentioned for my genre requirements.

50x66 "Nothing gold can stay." The book I read is The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. I think this is an amazing book that talks about an unusual love story between two people that have/had cancer. I believe this is also an inspiring story for teenagers about how no matter your situation you can always make dreams come true.In addition I would recommend this book to people ages 13 and up because it has difficult language and it is advanced. John Green is a best-selling author and has won many other awards. He has written Looking for Alaska and Paper Towns. This unusual story contains drama, losing love, death, literature, and the perusing of dreams.I think anyone who reads this book with fall instantly in love with it.

50x66 I read the book The Afterlife, by Gary Soto. This book is similar to ghost stories because it talks about a boy named Jesus who gets murdered and makes a journey as a ghost. I thought this book was a really good book because it shows alot of suspense and excitement. "He lunged and struck me a second time" This book is probably proper for people ages 12 and up bevause it contains some mature content. The Afterlife has won many awards including the A Booklist Editors' Choice. "Pulse[s] with life and will saty in memory.' -Booklist. Gary Soto also wrote Baseball in April and Pretty Crimes. Was Jesus' death all a dream or was his life really over?

50x66 The book I read is Also Known As Harper by Ann Haywood Leal. This book is about a girl, who after her dad leaving, faces many economic problems, and eventually has to leave her house and experiences her life as a homeless person. This book shows the true mean of homelessness and how you can use talents to overcome challenges big or small. I would recommend this book to anyone ages 12 and above. I could relate this book to Inocente's life and I believe this is a really interesting book. Patricia Reilly, the author of Pictures of Hollis Woods, says, "I loved this book and the feisty young girl known as Harper." Throughout the book Harper always tells her brother, "Aren't you going to do your waiting?" Is what he is waiting for ever going to come back? Will Harper be happy again?

50x66 The book I read is Life in the Fat Lane by Cherie Bennett. This book is aboout a girl who before a ironic change, was the homecoming queen of her school and won a lot of beauty contests. But then her life had a change which changed everything. This is a really good book that I would reccommend to teenagers that are 13 and above because this book talks about problems girls have and it teaches an important message at the end. I think this book is an amazing book because it helps understand what other girls think and it gives a diffrent perspective than your own. This book has won an Ala for best book for young adults. The Booklist says "Readers will totally be caught up." The Kirkus Reviews says "The author lays out the issues with unusual clarity, sharp insight, and cutting irony." Cherie Bennett and her husband, Jett, produced the play Anne Frank and Me. I think you guys should read this book and hopefully you guys will enjoy it as much as I did!

50x66 "Once upon a time came a story so full of high adventure and true love that it became an instant classic and won the hearts of millions." The book I am currently reading is The Princess Bride by William Goldman. This is a really good books for people who like reading Fantasy. The Princess Bride is about love, action, and fairy tales. I would recomment this book to people who have interests in reading fantasy books, and those who like reading about romances. This book would be suitable for people ages 13 and above because it has really confusing parts where you have to finish the whole chapter to understand what it is about. It includes three-five diffrent pionts of views which is really interesting. Los Angeles Times says "One of the funniest, most original, and deeply moving novels I have read in a long time." William Goldman has won two Academy Awards, for his books Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and the book, All the President's Men. He has also won three Lifetime Achievement awards. His book Marathon Man made him famous around the world. I hope you'll consider reading this book for your fantasy genre and enjoy it too!
