50x66 I'm sorry olivia, i was not aware. that was during the height of my medical issue. we have received 11 requests to read guernsey. Someone suggested an autobiography or A biography of Madeleine Albright and I found a book kit that looks very interesting and set during the same time called "Prague Winter: a personal story of remembrance and war". guernsey is a fast read, so it will be nice to have two options that month. we now have a book kit available 11/21 for prague winter. it'll be nice to compare and contrast the two stories (one fiction and one memoir) since I am almost finished with guernsey myself. ill be checking out prague winter in december.

50x66 we have had numerous requests for Jane austen, particularly pride and prejudice. there was a book kit available in June and thereare ladies that can only do one or the other book club.Having one month that brings both clubs together creates a community of commraderie and could introduce ladies to each other that may not have met yet, but share a love of books. it was also an opportunity to create excitement for both clubs and ww trivia, pride and prejudice was book/movie clubs first ever offering years ago. lots of fun bringing it back.

50x66 okay there is an event march 1st at 7:30 pm it is the hugohouse series to promote writing. it is music then 3 authors giving classes. it costs. there is a book signing type event at third place books on april 23rd in forest lake park, washington on bothell way. seems free and on topic of her book wild. the retreat on the 16th is hella expensive and mostly for women writers trying to break into the publishing market. so with that detail, I. think it would be awesome to read wild in april and then go meet the author herself.
