As to your other post, I have started hearing a lot about that show..."

The Battlestar Galactica homage at the end of the finale of Parks at least gave me hope they will have fun with the new timeline, whatever happens.

And, yeah, Orphan Black is a pretty cool show! The main actress is awesome too.

90404 Anyone else excited that Parks & Recreation will be "very gently sci-fi," according to the shows creator Mike Schur this coming season? I'm probably nerding out a little, but one of my fave characters IS Ben Wyatt.

:( I'm really sorry. I'm having a hard time with this book. And it may be its just not my cup of tea. I'll give it another try in the coming week.

I think you may have found a book of her's I haven't read (that isn't one of the newer ones). :) Cool! Off to Reader's Guide...

90404 I'm going back and forth between two Villains:

1. Severus Snape - Although not a main villain, he always had it in for Harry Potter and made life difficult for him. And in the end, did the unthinkable and the unforgivable right in front of Harry, by murdering Dumbledore. He's my fave kind of bad guy because its not black and white. He has good reasons for the way he acts, and its all because of love. He just shows it in twisted ways because of the unlucky life he has led. And in the end was he villain or hero? Its so hard to tell.

2. Vogons from Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy - because who doesn't like a good ole' fashioned Vogon poetry reading. ;) Wait...where'd my planet go?!

90404 I'm watching Moone Boy (on Hulu) by Chris O'Dowd and it is amazingly funny and sweet, specially if you grew up in the late 80's.

Also, I'm excited for the second season of the French series The Returned. It left off on a cool cliff hanger and I love the creepy setting and story telling method. Very Twin Peaks.

Plus, Continuum and Orphan Black's new seasons will be starting soon and I'm excited for them because they are the best Sci-Fi shows on in the US right now IMO, except Doctor Who.

So what do you think so far? I watched it back in February and it was pretty interesting and enlightening to see Karl Pilkington grow. But Ricky Gervais is just...wow, mean? And I normally like Stephen Merchant.

Ubik is awesome! I need to read those other two still.

90404 There was a book that looked interesting, but its a novella, just under 200 pages. It was up for a Hugo award last year I think and has an interesting premise. The Emperor's Soul
