Wiccan to be specific, she's been practicing witchcraft since the age of five when her adopted mother taught her, and she's become a mix of a Lunar Witch and a Green Witch

Her main deities that she works with are Selene, Odin, Ceres, and Fortuna

She's a big advocate for self love and even though she's usually chill and pretty laid-back most of the time, she gets REALLY angry about things concerning others' mental health and choices concerning their bodies

She's also DEFINITELY the mom friend of her group.

➳ ᴘᴇʀꜱᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ - Aelin is the quiet and strange kid at the back of the class, sweet but the one who brings a frog to class and acts like it's completely normal. She's usually quiet because she's quite introverted and ironically enough, other "normal" people tend to be alien to her as they react to things quite freakily the same way. She hordes collects crystals and strange doodads, gaining her a strong rep as the slightly scary girl who probably is the head of a cult. Honestly? She quite likes the title. Gets rid of annoying peers real quick.
Around people she gets to know and understand, it's like she's a whole other person; still nice, but very rebellious and witty with her playful insults. She's the mom friend and isn't afraid to show it, always bringing sweets and random items on her person that might be relevant to whatever inevitable trouble her group has gotten themselves into. Oh and she'll act above the trouble her friends get themselves into... but that's before someone's pissed her off. After that, I- I would just run, okay? Just trust me.
Aelin can turn anything into a weapon really, and when her eyes turn a glowing hue of purple-ish black, you know it's about to go down. She once stabbed someone straight into their arm with a pencil because they wouldn't start bothering her and one thing you have to know about Aelin is that she's one of the most laid-back people you'll meet. It takes a lot for her her to snap, but when she does, that's about 5 months of concealed frustration and rage she's about to throw at you.
She prides herself on being intelligent, and because of all the added up longing and determination that she bundled up to try and become the best in academics (Or anything she thought she could do well) in the hopes that it could maybe make her parents proud enough to take her back (This was back when she didn't know that her creator was The Morrigan), she will work herself dead before letting herself have a single grade below 95. She hates even the thought of her not succeeding and the idea terrifies her, having become the most common self-destructive thought at the front of her brain when she starts feeling anxious.
She's a solitary witch but wouldn't mind having a fellow Wiccan to compare and contrast things with, witchcraft being one of her ways to take her mind off of the less pleasant things in her life. She's a bit more than a bit obsessed with collecting crystals and always carries her journal almost filled to the brim with runes, spells, affirmations, information, and more.
