Oh my gosh, this is exactly what my mental health needs right now! Thank you!! I'm going to set a goal of reading four books (listed down below), but hopefully, I'll be able to read more! - Hot Dog Girl
- They Both Die at the End
- Sam & Ilsa's Last Hurrah
- Let's Talk About Love
The four books I've chosen all have LGBTQIAP+ rep from what I've heard about them. I'll try to have my other books include that rep as well, but I will have to read some review copies and I don't think they all fall into that category, unfortunately.
Having this readathon be an entire week long was amazing! I would definitely love throwing some of these longer ones into the mix more often. The only book from my TBR I didn't get to was Wonder Woman (which was my book for the surprise prompt), but I kind of replaced it with Aurora Rising because getting it was a surprise. I ended up reading 8 books for a total of 2,813 pages!Sunday

So excited for this! I've been in a bit of a rut when it comes to reading, so I'm hoping this will be the inspiration I need to get back into things! I'm drowning in review copies right now, so the books I've chosen for the prompts will only be read once I get through Birthday by Meredith Russo, The Boy Next Story by Tiffany Schmidt, and Something Like Gravity by Amber Smith. My goal is to get through six books during this readathon! The books I've chosen for the prompts are:
random choice: Wonder Woman by Leigh Bardugo (I told my husband to go and choose something without me knowing from my unread bookshelf, there's nothing more random than that!)
scary read: Devil in Ohio by Daria Polatin (This has been on my TBR since before it's release in 2017 so I guess it's time I finally read it, though the reviews don't look good. I saw that you hated it, Destiny.)
more than one author: Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff (I still haven't read Obsidio, but I need a refresher on Illuminae and Gemina before it can happen.)
I read way less today than I was wanting because I didn't feel well, but I'm still really happy with how much I managed to read during the readathon and I'm already looking forward to the next one!Thursday

I'll be out of town all day tomorrow (Friday) for some of my son's medical appointments, so I'm going to try and listen to an audiobook since we'll be in the car for a while. Hopefully I'll still be able to get a fair amount of reading in.
I have a busy weekend coming up, but I'll try to participate as much as I can! Probably I won't be able to read a book for each prompt, but we'll see.1) a book with a bright or pastel color on the cover
- Prince Charming by Rachel Hawkins
2) a book that makes you laugh (or smile, at least!)
- I Wish You All the Best by Mason Deaver (I've heard this one is super cute so hopefully it will make me smile a lot!)
3) a book with flowers on the cover
- The Beauty that Remains by Ashley Woodfolk (It's on my current TBR and I think there's one flower on the cover haha)
Hiiii, everybody! My name is Mari and I do solo impromptu readathons all the time, so I'm really excited to join y'all! I'm 25 and mostly read YA, but I really love MG too. Contemporaries are my absolute favorite and bonus points if they deal with messy emotions, unhealthy coping mechanisms, and queer characters! You can find me on Twitter where I
