I was surprised the library didn't have a Pride month section set up like they've done in the past, but I figured since they just recently reopened they've been more focused on all the health and safety issues (their website does have a large list of titles for Pride month, I should have looked there first for suggestions, haha!). I picked up a couple of fiction Anxious People and The Human Son as well as a couple of cookbooks Heritage and Grill It! . I had a slow start on Thursday but with this excessive heat the next few days (I'm in western Washington) I plan on finding a relatively cool spot to just read and drink lots of iced tea.

I've had Pride Month as my blog theme this month so I've almost exhausted my personal stash of queer authors/books, but I'm going to the library on Thursday so I'll see what I can find...and can you believe this will be the first time I will be able to walk in and browse at my local library since March 2020??!??!!

I'm glad I decided to check my groups otherwise I would have missed this! I'm totally in, don't know about the prompts but I want to finish Purple People for netgalley and The Dark Game for Halloween....plus a couple of other spooky stories I want to get to before the 1st. Added bonus will be turning the clocks back on the night of the 31st, so an extra hour of reading (potentially, lolol!)
