Nikki’s comments from the Unexpected Readathon Time / Books Out of the Blue group.

Turns out the Kindle version of Mexican Gothic is exactly 300 pages so I finished that today. I wanted so bad to love it since it's got such great reviews, but it just wasn't for me. It was still a three star read because there were some parts I liked, but I didn't get that wow feeling that others did.

I will probably only have time to read one book so I am picking one that fits both prompts.

I was able to finish the two books that fit the readathon's prompts so I'm happy about that.

6/19 - 136 pages
6/20 - finished Slay, 42 pages. I really loved this book and was caught off guard by the reveal of the antagonist.

6/15 - finished George, 82 pages. I was surprised when it was over, I was hoping for more of Melissa's story.
