I hear you, Barb. It is very hard to explain to people who don't read.Good books make the characters come to life, so you go places, enter a slice of life, care about them -- but they never "dump" on you so you always get to enjoy being with them. LOL

A big WELCOME to Clover Autrey as she joins the GLIAS crew. Here's a peak at her get to know you interview:DONNELL: I love your tag line, “Romance in the Safety Zone.” Tell us about your writing and what you want readers to take away from your work?
CLOVER: I simply write what I want to read. I love a lot of action and adventure, and yes, even lust and physical attraction, but I don’t necessarily want to follow characters into their bedrooms. I also want to have books available that I can share with my teenage daughter that aren’t so sweet that there’s not that much to talk about either, hence the tag line. I want readers to know that when they pick up a Clover Autrey book, they’ll have a fun, romantic read that is safe enough to pass on to their teens or their mothers without a lot of blushing involved.

I was actually born in Dallas, lived her until I was 12, then graduated from a very small town with 49 in my class. Then it was back to the city for me. But it's amazing that only 8 graduates live more than 15 miles from where they graduated. Amazing.~Angi
