88432 Yes Robynne! I had mentioned in my little bio that I read mainly audiobooks. I spend a lot of time driving and typing reports for my job. I also work night shift so I'm alone basically all of the shift when I'm not out doing reports. I've found I'm able to get WAY more reading done this way

Thank you!! I actually love my job. Some days are obviously much harder than others, but I love feeling like I'm making a difference in kid's lives.

88432 Some of my favorite reads:

The Great Gatsby

Beartown

Ready Player One

The Hate U Give

The Book Thief

How to Grow an Addict

Spilled Milk

Before We Were Yours

Dauntless

I'll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman's Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer

Ritualist

And so many more. I'd be here all day listing stuff for you guys. The Ristualist series and Harry Potter are my all time favorite series. I would say 90% of my books are listened to on audible. I wouldn't be able to read nearly as much due to my job and the schedule I have.

88432 Hi! I'm Jessica, one of the co-captains on our team for UNO this year. This is my first year playing UNO, so I was just as surprised as you to learn that they made me a co-captain. However, I'm an incredibly organized person and learn quickly. I've sent all of you friend requests and hope that we get to know each other well over the next few months!!

So about me. I live in the United States (Missouri specifically). I just celebrated my 24th birthday last month! I'm a social worker, and investigate child abuse and neglect. I work night shift at my job, so I will likely always be available until 1/2 EST if you have any questions with anything. I have two fur babies, a dog and a cat. Aside from my passion for reading, I really enjoy cooking and watching anime. Not sure if any of you will share my love of anime but HxH and Black Clover are some of my favorites!!

I love fantasy and sci-fi novels! However if you took a peek into my Audible library you would see it's a smorgasbord of just about everything. I'm going to post some of my favorite books below here! Feel free to also post some of your recommendations

P.S. I have never heard of our movie before LOL! I think that's just my age showing
88432 Just put my hold in at the library...I'm 20th in line on 3 copies. It'll be a while
88432 Yay!!! so excited
88432 Just now read this book! It was a 5-star read for me. I loved the writing style and the narration being from death's perspective. I was just so moved by the entire book. I can see how it isn't everyone's cup of tea, but this is definitely a book I'm planning to put on my permanent bookshelf and recommend to my friends!

88432 I'm so excited to join the UNO challenge!! I joined this group a bit back and saw your challenge from 2020. It sounds like a lot of fun. I read books from most genres, but HATE romance books. However, I don't mind branching out and trying something new. My personal challenge this year is 100 books, so I'm hoping the UNO challenge will help me knock some out :)

88432 I found the first part of the story to be a real slow burn to get through. The second and third parts were much better for me in terms of pacing and things happening with the story.

I wonder what the truth is behind the snow child. I have my theories ☺
