88432 📘 Favorite Fictional Relationships (Romantic or Otherwise)
Elle Kennedy writes some pretty great relationships, imo, so a lot of the ones in her books but if I had to choose - Garrett/Hannah (The Deal) and Tucker/Sabrina (The Goal).
Stephanie Plum/Ranger - hot damn these two.
Honestly? Stephanie Plum/Morelli is just as fucking fantastic.
Lindsay Boxer/Joe Molinari - Women's Murder Club
The Weasley Family (Non Romantic/Familial family)

📗 A book(s) everyone (including friends) seems to love, but you ended up disliking (hating) it or authors you "just don't get" in general
The Hunger Games - I do get it. I get the appeal but there was something about it that I never got into. I did not like Katniss.

📒 A Book(s) that was recommended to you by (a) GR friends and you loved
Things We Never Got Over (Knockemout, #1) by Lucy Score

📕 Any books/authors that you feel you should really try, but have never got round to reading yet.
The big one for me is Colleen Hoover novels.

both you and Michael mention The Women's Murder Club.. is this a sign for me? 😅

I have never read Twilight, but I understand the need to protect a memory of a beloved book you may end up..."

The Women's Murder Club is far from a perfect series but it was always be a comfort series - something I can read without too much need to emotionally invest and still enjoy. They had adapted it into a television series a while back and I wish it had gotten more than one season.

88432 📗 My favourite book growing up
Missing Since Monday by Ann M. Martin
I remember reading this book for the first time in like the 3rd or 4th grade. It was the first time I really felt connected with a main character in a book - and to see her home life/relationship with her mom was something that I really resonated with.

📒 The book that changed me as a teenager
The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls

📕 The book I came back to
Vegan, Virgin, Valentine (V Valentine, #1) by Carolyn Mackler
I don't know what it was but this was always such a comfort read. I read this book 10+ times.
The Clique Series (The Clique, #4-8) by Lisi Harrison - I don't know what it was about this series that had a hold on me? I don't even remember how I got the whole series in paperback but I read these books ten times over for each of them.

📘The book I could never read again
Twilight (The Twilight Saga, #1) by Stephenie Meyer - This is going to sound silly but there haven't been many books that I couldn't stomach to read again so I took this in a different direction. Twilight was such an experience to read for the first time that I don't know if I want to hinder that memory I have of spending all summer between 7th and 8th grade reading the whole series.

📗 The book I discovered later in life
I haven't started yet but I plan on starting The Southern Vampire Mysteries and I'm about twenty years late for that. LOL

📒The book I am currently reading
Sinister Wizardry (Royals of Villain Academy, #3) by Eva Chase

📕 My comfort read
Womens Murder Club Collection James Patterson 10 Books Set (10th Anniversary, 9th Judgement, 8th Confession, 7th Heaven, The 6th Target, The 5th Horseman, 4th of July, 3rd Degree, 2nd Chance, 1st to Die) by James Patterson - I am always rereading the Womens Murder Club.

88432 I have to narrow down favorites? How dare you ask something so hard of me on my day off. LOL

Okay so in terms of like "will always be favorite", I will always recommend the Kinsey Milhone series by Sue Grafton, if you haven't already read them.

Based on recent reading/2022 reading, I would recommend Cross Her Heart by Melinda Leigh (1st in the Bree Taggert series) - it's a mystery/thriller with a small bit of romance.

88432 Hello all! I'm Ariel and super excited to be here for this. I have heard some great things about the game and so I can't wait to get involved. A little about me is that I am 28 and a substitute teacher. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer about a year and a half ago and due to all of the down time, I started reading so much more. It is pretty much my life and I try to be open to all genres. I especially love thriller/mystery and romance novels.

This is my first UNO so I am still reading and getting used to everything. I think I have it down but I guess we'll find out. LOL

88432 Hello all! I'm Ariel and this will be my first time playing UNO and I am super excited. I've heard good things about the game. In terms of favorite genres, I'm definitely a massive romance fan. I also quite enjoy mystery/psychological thriller type books as well.
